Status Updates Help:
73s' Status Updates work very much like Twitter! You simply answer the question, "What am I doing right now?".
Many hams use this feature for coordinating QSOs or simply making comments about their day or their ham radio hobby.
You can put an '@' symbol in front of a ham's callsign to make it linkable to their profile page such as @N7ICE.
You can simply include links (with the http://) to make them linkable.
You can also privately direct message a fellow ham by starting the status with a 'd ' followed by their callsign and the message such as 'd n7ice 73s73s message'.
Note: Direct messages also transmit over APRS to the ham's radio like an SMS text message!
