APRS to Email.

Did you know that you can send a short email with APRS?

Instead of entering a call sign as the recipient of a message on your APRS radio, enter EMAIL. Then, make the first word on the message line a valid email address. Follow that with one space, then enter your message. Just remember to keep it short . The longer the email address the shorter the message.

Here is and example: EMAIL
N4PIX@arrl.com This is a test. APRS is cool.

Don’t forget the space between “.com” and “This is a test.”

Good afternoon -

Just tried it, looked like it worked.
sent from something I wrote to get sms messages and send them to aprs….
still a work in progress, but it looked like it worked….
