How Do We Honor the SK’s?
One friend in a radio-related club that I belong to has been collecting pictures of fellow club members who have passed away and he has been posting the photos on his website. Another friend in the same club mentioned to him that he finds this practice depressing and it turns him off. Since this club is international in scope and has thousands of members, I found it interesting to see pictures of people whom I had spoken to many times but never met in person. It also reminded me of conversations we had together years ago. I see this picture effort as an attempt to honor those people who have left us but I understand my other friend’s point of view.
